Welcome to the Lewis and Clark Elementary Library! I am so excited to share my thoughts about books and libraries with this blog. I hope that you also share your thoughts about books and libraries.
I attended a wonderful workshop about how school libraries can help students learn all kinds of skills in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. If you need information or a good book to read, stop by the library and I can help you with both. Not only will I help you find the books and websites you need, but I will also teach you how to find the information and books yourself!
Speaking of books.............. The 2006 Newbery and Caldecott Awards were announced January 23. And the winner is: 2006 Newbery - Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins and 2006 Caldecott - The Hello, Goodbye Window by Norton Juster.
